Job Description

A fantastic position has just come in for a highly motivated and skilled Dental Practice Manager to lead the administrative and operational functions in this well established busy dental practice based in the Essex area. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the dental practice whilst maintaining the highest standards of patient care and fostering a positive and efficient work environment.

Position: Dental Practice Manager

Rate: £33,000-£39,000 (Negotiable dependent on experience)

Days/ Hours: Monday to Friday 9am- 6pm (Also open to a 4 day week )

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the dental practice, including appointment scheduling, patient registration, and billing.
Manage patient records, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
Implement and maintain efficient office policies and procedures.

Team Leadership: Supervise and support the front office staff, dental assistants, and other team members.
Foster a positive work environment
Promote teamwork and effective communication among staff members.

Financial Management: Monitor and manage the practice’s financial performance
Ensure accurate billing, collections, and insurance claims processing.
Identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost control.

Patient Relations: Ensure exceptional patient satisfaction through effective communication and problem resolution.
Address patient concerns and feedback in a professional and empathetic manner.
Oversee the patient recall system to maintain and grow the patient base.

Regulatory Compliance: CQC compliance, marketing, social media


  • Proven experience in dental practice management
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Understanding of CQC Compliance
  • Commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care and service.


  • Experience in Dental practice management
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with CQC regulations and standards
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and third parties.
